Anyway, this story came out a few days ago… Now Urban claims that they pulled the shirts because they weren’t selling, but the designer says she was told specifically it was because of “too much bad press.”

I work in men’s knit we got this shirt and it was on the sales floor for 6 weeks. 6!!! It was ready to go on mark down but our store ops team kept getting complaints, non internet blog. these were e-mails to urban customer service, and it was their choice/call to take it off the floor. all these blogs are like a big snow of lies. Half of this people writing to urban aren’t even the urban customer, there just looking for a reason to bitch online.
2 be honest with u… It’s not a cute shit. If it didn’t sell, I think that’s why.
If it was taken off the selves because of the complaints… That’s lame. UO has tons of political tees. R u telling me McCain/Palin tees never got any complains, or Obama tees?
IKD… I proly wouldn’t have bought 1 just cause I don’t think it’s cute.
